Unless you've been living under a rock, then you should be familiar with Silence of the Lambs - the action-horror flick that features FBI agent Clarice Starling teaming up with the notorious Hannibal Lecter to catch another serial killer that skins his victims, Buffalo Bill. Well, Times Scare offers up a show that's a bit similar, but then again, it's a lot different. Silence! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of Silence of the Lambs. Featuring a singing chorus of floppy eared lambs narrating the action as the killers dance around and even Hannibal Lecter singing about life outside of prison, there's truly no other performance around town that offers the scares and laughs that Silence! does.
After it debuted online in 2002, word quickly spread of its immense popularity and it soon became a live stage show that shattered records around town at the 2005 FringeNYC Festival. We're here to tell you that Silence! is still going strong, and now you have the opportunity to see what all the fuss is about at Times Scare. Smart dialogue, shockingly disturbing yet hilarious songs, and phenomenal performances - what else could you ask for?
